If you ask men, the one thing they probably HATE more than being nagged by the opposite sex, is shopping WITH or FOR women! Men really struggle to continuously have to buy presents for ‘Her’; continuously having to come up with ideas for their wives, fiancés, girlfriends, lovers, mothers, sisters, daughters, for every anniversary, birthday, mothers day, valentines day, Christmas, etc, etc... What to buy???
If you asked the girls, most would say they LOVE to shop, and it’s getting progressively easier to do so now, with the internet. Even when you are too busy or car-less, you can now just jump on line…and Voila!!! This is where Presents for Her comes into the picture, created by Annette and Petar.
In fact Presents for Her was born after such a shopping experience...
Picture Christmas time, a few rush days before the actual day, jammed pack shopping centre, sardine can car park, with a line up at cash register! You have no choice but have to wait in line. Annette has 3 older sisters to buy for, her mum, and two nieces (18 & 13). Petar on the other hand seems to have it easy, no sisters ,three sporty brothers, his mum & dad, a sister in law and another brother’s girlfriend…Easy huh?
Well guess where we got stuck…yep you guessed it, buying for the girls! After nearly tearing each others hair out expecting each other to know what would be the perfect gift to get each family member, it suddenly dawned upon us that it was the females we were finding it so hard to buy for not the men!
Buying one time for these wonderful people in our life may not be the hardest task in the world; however, when ALL these people have had birthdays, anniversaries, christenings etc… in the same year AND for the last 10 years, how many ideas can you come up with?
I don't know of many men that enjoy being dragged around the shops...especially when it's not for them. One thing I’ve learnt from Petar, is that most men like things - simple, easy and quick .So, Presents for Her is perfect for that type of male, whether he’s the busy business executive, boyfriend, fiancé, husband with bad taste or imagination, or the typical male would prefer to watch the sport (on TV or live).

The Directors
Annette and Petar both have an extensive business background. There’s one degree Annette has, that her husband has awarded her, a degree in SHOPPING. "This girl knows how to shop, how to find a Bargain, and if it’s not on sale, she’ll negotiate… and when she gets home; how to justify any purchase she gets. If there was a award in shopping she’d win it hands down!"
With a background of being an International Speaker & doing consultancy work worldwide- Annette has been developing other people’s businesses and increasing their income potential through advanced communication skills. Primarily, her repertoire includes: teaching people selling techniques, negotiation skills and tailoring sales systems for individual companies around Australia and New Zealand.
Annette's background in the study of human behavior and psychology of female behavior helps educate buyers at a level where it makes the shopping experience easy. That's why she created the What Women Want section. Annette says, “I wanted to rely on factual up-to-date information, so we surveyed over 2000 women to help provide real guidelines on answering the question ‘what women want’ in relation to gifts."
Also an International Presenter and General Manager of two companies, the National Sales Academy (NSA) and International Training and Consultancy company Impact Training Corporation (ITC), Petar has been working with businesses and helping them grow by training teams all over the world in understanding Human Behavior. He helps companies deliver information to make customer decisions easier. Petar says, "when individuals understand what makes each other tick, then the world becomes a much easy and happier place to be."
Creative Arts Manager
Does this lady have ideas!! Give this lady two pieces of stick and Jane becomes MacGyver; she can make something amazing from anything. Jane’s years of being a nurse and doing arts & crafts as a part time hobby, has now rubbed off and given her a new lease in life. Her creative flair is really what the Presents for Her team needed. "I love to do this; it’s more like fun for me!"
